KICKBACK is a Parisian outfit who plays a violent mixture of hardcore and metal. Back in 91, lead vocalist Stephen Bessac was looking for an outlet for his obsessions. Originally influenced by the New York sound of bands such as BREAKDOWN, RAWDEAL, CRO-MAGS, CARNIVORE... First EP "No one gets out alive". In 1995, HOSTILE Records, got them a two album deal, first full length : "Cornered". It took a drastic change of line-up to take the sound into new territory: No Surrender, again these French madmen are way ahead of the competition and now theyve incorporated Black Metal riffs and the atmosphere of it into their vile metalcore AsIce.
supports = New Morality from Arnhem plays pure anarchy hardcore since 2004. Released a demo, compilations, an MCD, a split 7”, a promo CD, and recently a split cd with United Kingdoms Deal With It. Music wise you could say New Morality combines the heaviness of New York’s Breakdown with the hardcore soul of Crown of Thornz, but somehow always stuck to their musical roots and kept that punk attitude in their sound. Already toured Europe a few times with bands like The Mongoloids and No Turning Back, have another European Tour set for winter in 2010, and are expected to tour the USA in 2010.
Cornered, a 4piece band from Dublin, simply play music they like for nearly 5 years which happens to be plain HC.
