Trashcans friday the 13th

After a long period of performing and rehearsing, Unas finally decided to make a mini CD. In December 2007 they started to record four of their favourite songs. With the mini CD now finished, they are planning to release it in July and to start a tour in the Netherlands.

My City Burning started out in 2006 to make hardcore the way they saw fit; with balls and a lot of energy. Expect a mix of oldskool hardcore and thrashmetal with some catchy melodies, something along the lines of Terror, Sick of it All and Walls of Jericho

Wasted Bullet is a guarantee to energetic live shows, with oldskool-hardcore parts, solid mosh breakdowns and fast metalriffs. A melodic chorus is no exception. The brutal grunts and bloodshedding screams of vocalist Pim give the finishing touch to the band.

The bands that influenced Assassinated differ quite some from eachother. To name a few: DevilDriver, Lamb of God, Black Label Society and Pantera. The influence of these bands can be heard quite well in the first four songs. We can really say what we make specifically, its simply Assassinated, a band that can really be classified. Everts lyrics are mostly about ignorance and violence in the world (genocide).
