The recently released first full-length CD of St. Hood represents the latest export from Finland's vicious metallic hardcore scene. Expect some hard hitting hardcore with a metallic touch. The comparison to Madball can be extended with a bit of Stigmata and some metal riffs here and there. Founded in 1996, Down My Throat's history is the longest one in the young Helsinki scene technical in-your-face beating is very much appreciated all over Finland. Comparisons are hard to make, for this hybrid of early Integrity, Strife, Merauder, At the Gates and 80's thrash metal bands. Human Demise sounds like dark atmospheric bands as Ringworm and Integrity, mashed up with powerful and heavy bands like Sworn Enemy and Strife. They just got back from their Finland tour.
