FROM THE HEART is a Rotterdam based hardcore band, formed in early 2012.While they have been significantly influenced by Eurocore and New York hardcore,
their style can be best described as fast metallic hardcore.

In late 2012 Jos, Sander, Robin, Sven and Bart turned the amps back on. They realized the itch needed to be scratched. Years of strumming in former hardcore punk bands like I-Reject, Brothers in Blood and Black Cloud Halo, the boys got together for a new project. Fusing the frustrated, the freaky and the filthy. LODGES started during summer 2013 in Paris, from the ashes of their previous band Donkey Punch. Their sound evolved to something heavier and darker than ever before, somewhere between Catharsis, Lewd Acts, Converge, Cursed or Trap Them.
These guys are not rookies, as they already shared the stage with Kickback, Deafheaven, Trash Talk, Ceremony, Deal With It or Code Orange Kids, so they know how to make a crowd move
