THE OUTCASTS GERMAN TOUR ( ONE DATE IN HOLLAND)
The Outcasts :
The Outcasts were known as the bad boys in the Ulser punk scene. Formed in June 1977 in Belfast by the three Cowan brothers, Greg (vocals/bass), Martin (guitar/vocals), Colin (drums) and their friend Colin 'Getty' Getgoog (guitar), they played their first gig two months later.
Even though they called it a day in 1985, they have released 10 singles, 3 studio albums and 1 live album and toured in the Uk, France, Switzerland etc. regularly.
The audience loved them for their rough sound and sweet melodies. Two of their hits: You're A Disease and Just Another Teenage Rebel.
In summer 2011, they reformed to play Rebellion festival. After that they toured Scotland, played sell-out gigs in Manchester, London, Belfast, Dublin and Spain and their first little German tour. Since 2011 they also returned to Rebellion every year.
A Live-DVD has been released in 2012 "Live in Dublin". And the Outcasts are also portraied in the new great Belfast punk movie Good Vibrations.

The Bips (25, and making an impression since 1987) back on stage
Rock city, techno-capital, leftwing squatters’ mainframe; call it what you will but Nijmegen has been Bips-city for 25 years. You’re not from Nijmegen if you haven’t heard of The Bips. It’s just a matter of time till someone digs up a Roman skeleton with a Bips sticker on his helmet.
