From England we present Darko... fast technical music just how we like it
Melodic and heavy, fast and intricate, Guildford’s new favorite punk band Darko are leaving a massive technical boot print on the UK music scene with the release of their newest EP From Trust To Conformity.
Following on from the release of their debut self-titled release in 2010 Darko take elements of the modern hardcore and mash it up with the skate punk sound, reminiscent of 90’s era Epi-Fat bands.
Darko have been treating audiences to one of the most incendiary live shows. Having played with countless bands from around the world Darko have garnered a reputation as one of the best live acts the UK + european punk scene has to offer.
The latest EP 'From Trust To Conformity' is five tracks of high-octane riff filled hardcore punk rock. The record was produced and engineered by Chris Coulter (Arcane Roots, Trails, Homeless Music) ensuring a solid sound.
They will be supported by another Belgian skatepunk group called A Hero Build
A HERO BUILD is a melodic punkrock act hailing from Ostend, a coastal town located in Belgium. The band was founded in the summer of 2008 and started the search for their own sound eversince. After releasing a first demo in 2009 as a first impression, A Hero Build got the opportunity to play a good amount of shows in Belgium and neighbouring countries. A new record followed by the name ‘Our Nature’ in 2011. A 5-song EP that took the band to a higher level. The melodic approach includes alternating guitar riffs and a pounding drum and bass combo, all powered by passionate vocals. So far they had the pleasure to play support shows for bands such as This Is A Standoff, Mute, High Five Drive, Hit The Switch, Antillectual, In-Sane, Stolen Youth,...
In October 2013 the band released a new EP called 'Prospects', containing 5 brand new songs and was supported by a Eurotour with the German punkrockers of Money Left To Burn. The EP will be released through Giljotina Records from Slovenia as well and will be available on limited vinyl later this year (December). With this fresh, hard and new sound they're set to hit the stage as much as possible in the near future!
All this will take place at the 330live!
