Bonecrusher
Bonecrusher, a no-frills, self-proclaimed "working-class" punk band, were formed in 1992 in Orange County, CA, after the dissolution of O.C. also-rans Wolfpack. Bonecrusher spent the next couple of years building up a fan base, and in 1995 released their debut, A World of Pain. While the band was all set to conquer southern California in 1995, a series of setbacks -- drugs, members off to jail or other bands -- all conspired against the band and the momentum was lost. In 1996, the band reappeared yet again, only to start a near riot at a show and lose all hope at getting a future booking. Luckily for them, in 1997 Outsider Promotions gave them a chance, getting them a repeat club booking as well as releasing their comeback single, Angry Youth. In 2004 German punk label Knockout put out a two-disc compilation entitled Fractured, which put back into print the 2001 full-length Followers of a Brutal Calling, 2000's Singles Collection, and some bonus tracks from the band's early days. As of 2005, the band was still hitting the stage, mostly in California. Chris True, Rov

Kill Spectator
is a five piece rock outfit from Eindhoven, The Netherlands. And please, pay no mind to the term rock because, as you well know, it no longer offers any frame of reference. Obviously, the same goes for punk, another hopelessly fragmented and outdated label that your parents and colleagues might very well use to define Kill Spectator’s angst-fuelled, bold-faced, raw-edged potpourri of musical aggression.
..So what, then, are you to think of when closing your eyes and thinking of Kill Spectator? Well, if anything, think borrowed amps and broken strings, warm beers and cold floors, cheap equipment and a group of musicians that long ago stopped trying to be any genre’s darling. Firmly rooted in hardcore punk and no nonsense rock, the five guys of Kill Spectator no longer aim to fit any picture frame at all.
..Dangerously balancing on the verge of environmental catastrophe, economic depression and another cold war, the dramatically confused world of today inspires Kill Spectator to do what so very few contemporaries are able to: playing music for the sake of it, and playing it like the ground underneath their feet might crumble into oblivion at any given moment. An honest, balls swinging, guts hanging out, sweat dripping band, Kill Spectator expects their audience to be participants rather than lookers-on. There aint the time, nor the tolerance, for tourists. Because know this, dear friends: the apocalypse is at hand, and you’re most definitely invited.
