SMILE AND BURN added tot the bill!
Maybe not the best but certainly one of the most refreshing records of the year. Berlin’s Smile And Burn debuts with ‘Flight attempt of the Kiwi’, 11 songs that stay within the parameters of punk rock but never sound the same. I love how they take stuff from bands like The Loved Ones, Title Fight and Strike Anywhere and mash it up to create their own sound. The personal lyrics and subtle artwork go well with music.
One of those records that you can play to the girl that you have a crush on without scaring her too much with your love for punk rock.
Dudes and dudettes that dig the above-mentioned bands should definitely give this record a spin.

THE SHUFFLE
The Shuffle formed back in the summer of 2002, with the same four members who stand before you today, since then we have had the pleasure of playing 200+ gigs with the likes of 5 Knuckle, 4th Fingers, The Dead Pets, Failsafe, All Idols Fall, The Living Daylights, Giving Chase & Rentokill to name but a few.

Live review 17th october 2008 - myspace.com/lincolnbands
"Macclesfield’s The Shuffle they’ve got riffs that are painfully good and melodies that stick in your head. they put on one helluva performance. they hardly stopped bounding around the stage, chucking out fast paced, massive sounding tunes. The crowd responded well, taking them to heart, enjoying the moment. they left the audience happy, but knackered."
E.P Review 2008 - Mild Peril Zine
"6 tracks of striking melodic hardcore punk, these's dudes really know how to fucking play, tight as fuck on the CD and I can imagine they are live. I fucking love this EP, it made me wanna smash shit up and shout along at the same time, always a sign of a brilliant band."
