With a musical influence rooted in such legendary acts as; Minor Threat and
Refused, bands who expanded the horizons in their day, The Process aim is
to elevate their legacy to a new level. Listeners of The Process will also
find fragments of more current groups, i.e.: Tragedy, Cursed, From Ashes
Rise, Refused, The Hope Conspiracy etc.

The Process always strives to give their all in every live appearance. The
band wants to give the audience a dynamic set, ranging from d-beat to
sing-a-long and breakdowns, combined with dystopic tales of an urban
society, in both English and Swedish.

+ WAKING THE DEATH (bloemenbuurt thrashcore)

From the ashes of Skulls And Flames Waking the dead arise.
Waking the dead actually formed 5 minutes after Dave d. drove away at Ed's house when he announced to quit with S.A.F.!
Ed and Mike d. agreed continue to thrash and shred together with a new project. Ed switched from 4 string assault to 6 string mayhem and Mike still try's to hit drums. Amsterdam thrashers Jaap and Tim completed the band on screams and 4 string assault.
After a couple of shows and the first demo recordings Jaap quit and was replaced by Max.
With this line up we going fast and loud and hope to play short songs for a long time together.
In December 2007 and February 2008 we've recorded 29 songs from which we selected 13 for our split 12" with the shining.
This 12" is released in August 2008 on pick up records and dead area.
Together with our thrash buddies we toured England, Germany, Slovakia, Czech rep., Hungary, Austria, Belgium and of course the Netherlands.
