The caipyranhas & four dices

Caipyranhas (rockabilly/psychobilly)
As Pete and Benny left Red Hot Wheels in november 2005 they immediateley started looking for a new bass player. Only five days after the split they had the first session, but it wasnt untill February 2006 that they decided to settle for Don Tose (ex-Double Cross). We didnt want to copy our former band, so we knew, we had to add something extra to it, Benny says. When youre a three-piece band, everything should fit 100%. Everything less is a waste of time. With Don Tose, we found the missing link, according to Pete. Don: Yeah, I agree to that. And so it happened, that Pete wrote some new songs for their first official rehearsal and it blew them all away. Everyone who ever experienced a RHW concert remembers the energy and fun they spread out on stage. The new material is even better, stronger and faster! Although the band has a serious approach when it comes to writing songs, arranging and playing their instruments, songs like Party and Where the sun dont shine show the wit, both in a musical and lyrical way. Well, you cant take yourself too serious when you make music, can you? If you do that, youd better stop playing and get a job as an accountant. And I know what Im talking about, Pete admits... With their first EP recorded within two days, they prove to withstand the most critical listener (or just blow them away)! Pete adds: This is no traditional stuff, or some false nostalgic BS. We just put together what we like and mixed the whole thing into a spicey cocktail. Either youll love it, or youll hate it. This time, theres no in-between. The Caipyranhas are a new kind of breed within the Rockabilly scene and if youre lucky, youll get eaten by them, alive....
The Four Dices is geïnspireerd door rock ‘n roll en rockabilly artiesten uit de jaren 50. In hun mix van rockabilly, blues en country hoor je deze invloeden herkenbaar terug.
