how to get there by public transport:

Take metro/sneltram 51, 53 or 54 from Amsterdam Centraal and get out at the stop Weesperplein. You should be able to see the HVA building from the metrostation, and the entrance to the Cafe is at the parking lot of the Hogeschool, so don't waste your time looking at the side of the street.
