Somewhere between the gutter and the streets, Somewhere between a stinking pub and a hangover. There’s the place where you will find “the Monotones”. 3 screaming motherfuckers who were sick and tired of all the shitty music in their environment. And so they came up with an idea too start at the base of modern music: ROCK N ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rock n roll in it’s most pure form: stinky, rotten and fucked up. In one word: effective. The band was first formed by Gibson and Thijs but they found out that they needed a singer too complete their rock n roll inferno. So they asked Boye to join them in their struggle. A struggle where the cards are played in a different way. A struggle with 3 winners: Gibson behind his drum kit Thijs torturing his six strings And Boye bringing the message of sex, drugs and Rock‘n’Roll.
