Travoltas houden er mee op

Na 16 jaar heeft de Tilburgste band De Travoltas besloten om er mee te stoppen. Ze hebben in die tijd maar liefst 7 albums uitgebracht. De reden dat ze stoppen is dat de motivatie er niet meer is en dat de bandleden hun tijd dus liever aan andere dingen willen besteden. Hun laatste show zal zijn op 18 november in Madrid. The 16 years of The Travoltas were quite an adventure. The tours have taken us to the outskirts of Europe, the US and Japan, leaving us with great memories of a fantastic period in our lives. We are proud of what we have achieved and grateful for what the music has brought us. We started this trip in my parents’ garage, squeezing out our first songs, hoping that we would make it to the stage one day. Now we are at the end of our journey, we hope you had a good time aswell! We’d like to thank all the people and organizations who supported us and believed in us in the good and the bad times. Without your efforts, time and energy we wouldn’t have made it this far. But most of all we would like to thank you: all the fans who came to our shows, who listened to our records, who spread the word around and who gave us the energy and appreciation.
