The Turbo AC's - Live to win

I've always loved the AC's! Don't exactly know why...is it the coolness that they have?...there outstanding live rep.? or maybe the surf influences? I wasn't sure what to expect after founding member Michael Dolan left the band and two new members joined the two original Kevin's (Prunty/Cole). 'Automatic' and 'Avenue X' were awesome discs and you know what? Don't expect 'Live to win' to sound the way those 2 fuckers did. I was disappoined when I tried it the first time. I was feelin' better after the third time and when the repeat button was pushed a 6th time I was really gettin' into it. The sound is mean, the atmosphere is dirtier than ever and the surfinfluences are prominent. I think the turbo ac's are gonna win back lot's of fans that didn't like the way their sound went with all them punkrock influences. Nope, this is garage, all the way with lot's of surf and even 'soundtrack alike sounds', kids! Goin' back old-school. Give it a chance to grow. It's killer to kickback on songs like 'Save me' and 'KHWC' while 'X-Ray', 'One of us' and 'Overdrive' are heavier than ever. 'Fried Chicken' gets a special nomination, what a cool riff!! One of the best songs the band ever recorded. It's different, it's more raw, it's more old-school. It's aaaaawesome!
