Yup, they're back once again, the mighty Supersuckers. The best rock ‘n roll band in the world as the bandmembers themselves claim on every show. ‘Paid’ is a 6-song ep that has little surprises musically. The mix of rock ‘n roll and punkrock that has become the band’s trademark is executed to perfection. Did you know Supersuckers are about to tour the US with Social Distortion? This motherfucker sure is trippin’ now! In fact ‘Breaking honey’s heart’ and ‘Here I am’ remind me a lot of Orange County’s number 1 pride. I don’t really see the point of yet another version of ‘creepy jackalope eye’, no inspiration for a 6th new song? But the new version of 'Roadworn and Weary' is fuckin' killer!! Simply one of the best songs I've ever heard. Anyways, ‘Paid’ is another killer release that you need to buy. The best band in this genre next to Social D. Eddie did it again.
