slapshot quits

SLAPSHOT is a band that needs no introduction! As they approach the 20 year mark, the band has decided to call it quits decisively after one last European tour and one last studio recording. We here at Thorp were flattered when the band asked us to do the honor of releasing the last record from this iconic hardcore mainstay. The band has already begun writing and pre-production for the songs and they expect to enter the studio in July to lay down the tracks. The release will be of MCD length (longer than an EP, but shorter than a full length) and also feature over 20 minutes of exclusive enhanced video footage to be produced by KILLSWITCH PRODUCTIONS (www.killswitch.tv), owned and run by Ian of BLOOD FOR BLOOD and Anthony of STAND AND FIGHT. Expect the release out sometime late 2004.
