De nominatie werd in de wacht gesleept voor het laatste album Veil of Ignorance. De band had er het volgende over te zeggen: "We dont know if it’s because of Christmas, because of the dark powers or any other influential force. But the new album “Veil Of Ignorance” has been nominated for a Swedish Grammi-award (Hardrock). We know that Raised Fist knows how to rock, and we also know that they are harder then all the other nominated bands mothers.
