Onderstaand nieuwsbericht komt direct van Crucial Attack; We from Crucial Attack Records are really happy to announce that the Gewapend Beton “Empty Batteries” 12” Ep is out now! Six songs of perfect balanced hardcore punk with 80’s influences from bands like Bad Brains, Zero Boys and Reagan Youth. This all mixed with a Uk punk flavour and you end somewhere how this records sounds like. Gewapend Beton started out in 2003 and released their first demo Cd-r ''Embryo Punk'' the same year. Then the band recorded 7 songs in 2004 and it took almost a year before the split LP with the Bakfiets Boys “Nederpunk Gaat Door” came out. After lots of cool shows and touring trough Europe the band hit the studio again in 2007 to record their first full length LP/CD ''17 Until We Die''. Since then Gewapend Beton didn’t took the time to sit still and only one year later they finished the recordings for the “Empty Batteries”. By that time Crucial Attack Records and La Familia Records came together to release the “Emty Batteries” 12” EP. From December 19th till January 3th Gewapend Beton went on a fifteen day tour trough the outskirts of Europe to promote “Emty Batteries”. This tour was a blast!
