Nieuw Joey Cape project --> Afterburner

Joey Cape (Lagwagon, Bad Astronaut, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes) is nog een ander project begonnen. Het heet Afterburner en dit doet hij samen met zijn kompaan Todd Capps uit Bad Astronaut. Op hun MySpace ( het duo inmiddels een aantal nummers gezet. Dit is wat Todd Capps zegt over het nieuwe project: "It just feels right, lots of breathing room to experiment and explore, and we always seem to end up on the same page with each other in an amazing way. So, we're both planning on it being a long-term thing. A few songs to start out with (just days away!), and we'll keep adding to it from there..."
