Lower class brats

21 oktober 2006
The bio says 'the new seditionaries' should sound like a mixture of both worlds, the streetpunk vibe and a lot of glamrock thrown in a blender. Ok, after just one spin I totally had it with this genre. It's been done a million times before and Lower class brats doesn't sound original one bit. I'm not saying they're bad in what they're doing, but god, how much more bullshit can you write in your bio. I'm not hearing one bit of glam or rock 'n roll on this album. It's basic streetpunk like you've probably heard so many bands do better. The artwork is cool, but that's about it. Funny to see that metal guitar dude in the band, maybe that's why they mention the glam and Alice Cooper influences. Being an Alice Cooper fan I'm ashamed to see the man's brilliance dragged throught the mud. I mean, there's no comparison, common!! The clockwork orange image isn't new and has been done by numerous bands. If you're looking for same old, same old I'd suggest you pick up the new Casualties cd, it's nothing shocking as well, but at least they do it in style!
