Gewapend Beton - Empty Batteries

Officieel komt 'ie pas 7 februari 2009 uit, maar op de aankomende december / januari tour is de nieuwe plak vinyl van de Amsterdamse embryopunks al verkrijgbaar, 'Empty Batteries', een 12" singel die Crucial Attack Records in samenwerking met La Familia uit zal brengen. Crucial Attack Records will release their “Empty Batteries” 12 EP in cooperation with La Familia to support the Gewapend Beton two week tour from December 19th till January 3th. The record will be available on tour, but the officiall release streetdate is February 7th. Gewapend Beton then will wreck the OCCII in Amsterdam together with the Dutch kings of punk Antidote, labelmates Bratpack, Citizens Patrol and the event will be opened by Adolf Butler. Gewapend Beton started out in 2003 and released their first demo cd-r ''Embryo Punk'' the same year. Then the band recorded 7 songs in 2004 and it took almost a year before the split LP with the Bakfiets boys “Nederpunk Gaat Door” came out. After lots of cool shows Gewapend Beton hit the studio again in 2007 to record their first full length LP/CD ''17 Until We Die''. In 2008 the Embryo Punx strike again with “Empty Batteries” and after the intensive touring around Europe became even more outstanding! Six songs of perfect blazing hardcore-punk with an intensity which proves that after all their batteries are fully charged!
