Bomshell rocks: The Conclusion

Before y'all start blabbering...I know this cd is out for some time now but I just wanted to write this review. Bombshell Rocks has been around for 10 years and it's kinda sad the band had to release it's new album through the smaller 'Combat Rock Industry'. But, on the other hand the Swedish punks are their number 1 priority, so... Be that as it may, 'The Conclusion' is a step back for Bombshell Rocks. The sound, the production, the songs are recorded with a smaller budget (I'm just guessing here...) and are different from the latest album 'From here and on', which was an album that showed a different face. So, is this a bad thing? Hell no! This album may not be the best punk record ever written, it sure has a lot of catchy stuff on it. Of course critics might call this a Rancid rip off, but hey... I'd rather listen to 'The conclusion' boyo. 'Move rythmn city' immediately got me in that good mood and 'Bloodbrothers', 'Golden' and 'Me and you' are some of the best songs I've heard this year. Again, don't think original here, just think solid, melodic streetpunk...that's what this band offers and what you'll get time after time. Back to the roots with a 'smaller' sound, but with a BIG heart!
