Duane Peters reminds me of a Duracell bunny, the man just won't quit.

After being a pro-skater, full-time drunken freak, part of 'The exploding fuck dolls', 'Die Hunns (formerly, Duane Peters and the hunns' and The Hunns'), ‘The Duane Peters gunfight’ and of course US Bombs and having his own label 'Disaster records', hell the man even has his name on those nice ‘Vision’ and ‘Draven’ shoes, Duane decided to release another album with The Bombs.

Looks like his marriage with Corey Parks (Die Hunns, Ex-Nashville Pussy) last summer brought new inspiration.

All hail to the ultimate gigantic bass torturing female rock 'n roll bombshell (or 'exploded fuck doll'?) that is Corey for keeping Mr. Peters under her thumb and keeping him somewhat clean.

First of all, 'War Birth' will always stay my favourite US Bombs album and that'll never change.

Other full-lengths like 'The world' or 'Back to the Laundromat' were great but sounded to 'pretty' and 'clean' for a full-blooded punk band like The Bombs.

'We are the problem' is a new attempt to regain the success the band had a couple of years ago. Will they manage?

I honestly don’t know. This cd sounds 100% US Bombs. They're still maintaining a mix of old-school English punk and that US Cali sound that has become their trademark.

People like you records made a smart move signing these old timers cuz they're still bringin' it home. Songs like 'We are the problem', 'Do it again' and ‘Revolution weekend’ are typical for this band. ‘Heartbreak motel’ and ‘Tonight’ are drunken rock ‘n roll/country lullabies and actually sound pretty cool.

But it’s instant classics like  '4th of July’, ‘Destroy the nation’ and the heaviest one ‘Hammered again’ that 'should' catapult them way up there again on the punk popularity charts.

Solid release, musically not as strong as their previous stuff, but hey, at least they're still around.
