For almost 20 yrs. Dead Moon has been banging away in the underground music scene. Considered by many to be the most influential "cult' rock band without going major label. Their songs have been covered by such notables as Pearl Jam, The Nomads, Powder Monkeys, De bosen, and over 60 other bands worldwide. Fred Cole has been influencing bands since the 60's with his legendary style of the Lollipop Shoppe's "You Must Be A Witch". His Songwriting style has changed very little but with his wife Toody, their harmonies and her vocals have added to the raw screaming vocal style. Andrew Loomis has fine tuned this deadly trio from Clackamas Oregon with animalistic approach to drums since the beginning. Dead Moon seems to love the death theme and yet there has never been a band more alive. In a world where everything changes, they are a mainstay. How much longer? Maybe 'til the candle burns out |
